You can change, it starts with your mindset around change!
Let's dive in
What are your GOALS be specific not just lose weight be healthy and what behaviors are you wanting to change -write this down
WHY do you want to reach these goals, what will it change or provide for you in your life, what would happen if you didn't reach these goals? -write it down
How can you make SMALL daily goals? (this will really help by making it easier to get small wins, therefore, keep you going) Instead of only eating clean foods, not sticking to that feeling like a failure, and saying I am not meant for this, why can’t I change. → I will eat 1 whole nutrient-dense meal a day. Small reachable wins!
Notice what actions you have been not doing. What are the TRIGGERS that get in the way? Notice your REACTIONS to those triggers, what do you tend to do instead? What in the PAST has happened to cause you to not change your habits?
IF those triggers happen how can you rearrange the situation to THEN proceed with doing your healthy habit?
Check your MINDSET do you have a FIXED or GROWTH mindset around your nutrition and fitness? Do you find yourself saying “I am just not that type of person to get up early and workout” “I just am not the type of person that meal preps” Those are fixed which = no change in your life, how can you shift those thoughts to growth “Getting up early is hard, but I know with effort I can change it to become easier” Fixed thoughts limit and label yourself to a type of person when you do this you will tend to not put in the EFFORT it takes to change because you feel you are just that way, you will tend to give up when things get hard and you feel “it's not for you, or your not made for it”
Your THOUGHTS about you actually changing will determine your change!
