1 DOWN-REGULATING YOUR METABOLISM- When you constantly under eat or forget to eat, your metabolism will slow down or downregulate and make your very little food your maintenance calorie, ie why you’re barely eating and not losing weight. 

 

2 DECREASE IN ENERGY-I don’t know about you but I am a busy mom and I do not have time to be tired, sluggish, and fatigued all day long! Less food = Less energy, food is more than fuel but think of it this way, what happens to your car when you don’t fill up the gas tank… it stops going, or when your kid’s toys the batteries are running low and you don’t charge it, it slows down and stops working. Well, same with your body you don’t feed it multiple times a day it slows down and can not run to its potential.

 

3 GET SICK MORE OFTEN- Girl, I know you don’t have time to be sick if you don’t even have time to eat. By undereating you are depriving your body of nutrients it needs for a healthy immune system. 

 

4 HAIR LOSS & SKIN ISSUES- MOMMA you are trying to love yourself and feel beautiful in your skin and what you are doing by not eating is the exact opposite.  You are again depriving yourself of nutrients your body needs for healthy skin and hair by skipping meals because you are too busy to eat. 

 

5 HORMONAL DOWN-REGULATION- this is a big one, we want to feel our best and our hormones control so much of that.  When you chronically undereat, your body was built to survive, so it will downregulate functions like hormonal production to run other parts of your body because of a lack of fuel to run all of your bodily functions.
